Artists and Musicians Association would like to thank Bomet CID officers for
arresting a key suspect (Eric Musila) who is the husband to the Late Chelele Diana Osama. The
suspect was today arrested by Bomet detectives at Nakuru and was booked at
central police station Nakuru. The suspect is now on his way to Bomet for
fingerprints to be taken and statement recorded. We expect Musila to appear in
Kericho high court tomorrow to answer charges of crimes. It is noteworthy that
two witnesses saw Chelele with Musila and another unknown person past midnight
on the faithful day of disappearance. When the police visited the scene they
found the scene full of blood confirming that Chelele Diana Osama was
murdered there and body dropped at his house. After piecing together forensic
information, finger prints from the body and gloves and telephone conversation
the CID found the basis to believe that Eric Musila Makau has a case to answer.
The CID then travelled to Nakuru at night and made the arrest at noon... We
hope justice will be dispensed at the corridors of justice.
